Girls soccer

Othello 6, Wapato 2

OTHELLO ­— Othello overcame a 1-1 halftime tie to beat Wapato 6-2.

Hailee Guzman fed a corner kick to Ashley Perez for a goal, had a hat trick and assisted on two goals.

Guzman assisted on both of Gracie Sorenson’s goals. Sorenson returned the favor, assisting on two of Guzman’s three goals.

Volleyball

Warden 3, Columbia 2

WARDEN — Warden rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat Columbia in five sets 21-25, 13-25, 25-23, 25-20, 15-12.

It was Warden’s second consecutive win after trailing by two sets.

Kiana Rios led the Cougar attack with nine kills, in addition to 29 digs. Kayla Golladay had seven kills and Kaya Enriquez added five kills. Sisters Alexys and Brooke Gibbons recorded 11 and eight assists, respectively.

Othello 1, Toppenish 0

TOPPENISH ­— Othello remained in a tie for second place in the league with a 1-0 win at Toppenish.

Meah Michel converted a shot off an assist from Emily Mendez.

Warden 1, Naches Valley 1

NACHES ­— In a break from league play, Warden tied Naches Valley 1-1.

Jocelyn Chagoya scored for the Cougars.

Warden 3, River View 2

KENNEWICK ­— Warden defeated River View in five sets 22-25, 22-25, 25-13, 25-23, 15-12.

Kayla Golladay recorded 11 kills and Kiana Rios totaled 23 digs. Jlynn Rios added five aces and 13 digs.
