Othello FFA meeting at Othello High School

The Future Farmers of America Othello Chapter will be holding its general meeting at the Othello High School November 5th, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with a casual barbeque. FFA members, students and parents are welcome to attend, though parents and the general public should arrive around 6 p.m., said Royal City High School Ag teacher Joe Silva.

“The Othello FFA BBQ. will help bring our community together and will support our FFA members which will build friendships with teachers parents and administrators,” wrote Silva. “Othello FFA members will learn responsibility, how to have good work ethics and leadership skills from their help with the BBQ.”

The FFA meeting set after the BBQ. agenda will include discussion on the 1. State officer visit, 2. Participation at the State Potato - tractor contest held in Moses Lake on November 15, 3. FFA team participation in Ritzville, 4. Community service projects and Nov-Dec. fundraisers, according to Silva.
