R-90 petitions available for signing on Thursday in Othello
OTHELLO — Washington residents are collecting signatures to get the new controversial sex-ed legislation on this November’s ballot for voters to weigh in on. A total of 129,811 signatures are required, according to the Parents for Safe Schools website.
On Thursday, June 4 from 2 to 6 p.m., petitions will be available for signing at Pioneer Park, next to Ace Hardware in Othello. Those concerned about the sex-ed curriculum that was recently passed are invited to sign the petitions.
