ROYAL CITY — Red Rock Elementary School is well into phase two of construction and demolition for phase 3 has begun. That was the report given during a regular meeting of the Royal School Board on Monday.

Dolly Ramminger said construction on the administration area of the school will be completed by the beginning of school. The cafeteria and gymnasium will be completed one at a time after school has started. Both should be completed by the end of November.

Red Rock Elementary Principal David Andra said that the community helped the staff clean out Red Rock for the summer construction.

“People came with trailers,” he said. “Kuddos to all of our people.”

The clean out started at 6 a.m. and was completed around noon. The Royal Middle School gym is storing Red Rock’s things until they can be moved back in before school.
