Othello PD searching for hit-and-run suspect

OTHELLO Police in Othello are searching for the driver of a pickup truck who fled the scene of a hit-and-run collision in the city over the weekend.

This incident occurred about 12:45 a.m. Sunday morning and involved a pickup truck, possibly a late 1990s or early 2000s Ford F-150, make a turn from North First Avenue into the 100 block of East Pine Street.

The driver was traveling at a high rate of speed, lost traction and crashed into the front of a parked vehicle. The parked vehicle rolled about 50 feet before plowing into two other parked vehicles. The driver of the truck took off after the crash and is being sought by Othello police.
