PUBLIC HEARINGS on the Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington (2020-2023 Area Plan) SENIOR SERVICES Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington, which is the designated Area Agency on Aging for Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln and Okanogan Counties, will conduct two public hearings on its proposed 2020 - 2023 Area Plan for aging services. Required by the Older Americans Act, the Area Plan identifies needs of older persons, sets priorities and specifies how both federal and state funds will be expended. Notice of Public Hearing & Notice of Application with Optional DNS City of Othello Hearings Examiner - AT&T Wireless Communication Tower New Cingular Wireless PCS (AT&T) submitted an application June 19 to construct a 100'-tall cell tower camouflaged as a bell tower at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 640 E. Elm St. The application was determined complete and notice of application was issued June 24. Required permits are conditional use permit, building permit, and request to build on unplatted property. The City of Othello has reviewed the proposal for probable adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS). All impacts are expected to be mitigated by existing regulations. The optional DNS process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. Notice of Application with Optional DNS McCain Foods submitted an application June 26 for activities related to future expansion at their site, 100 E. Lee Road. The current proposal includes constructing pumphouse and fire riser buildings, installing a new 16" water main, and placing 100,000 SF of crushed rock for temporary parking and staging.
